Service Policies and Information
Quality Performance

We promise you quality performance. If something does go wrong, and it was our fault, we will be responsible for the cost of the lost or damaged garment only, up to the lesser of the purchase price of the garment (provided you supply us with sufficient evidence of your purchase price, such as a store or credit card receipt) or 10 times the cost of the dry cleaning fee charged for that garment. We do require you to notify us of any claim for a lost or damaged garment within 48 hours of the loss. We will provide you a credit against any fees due to us, or if no fees are outstanding, we will promptly pay for the damages. If we provide you with a credit or payment, we reserve the right to retain the damaged garment.

We take special care of all your garments, but cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs while cleaning an item in accordance with the directions printed on its care tag or in accordance with any special instructions you may give to use. There are some stains that just can’t be fixed and we can’t guarantee that we will be able to remove all stains. We are not responsible for damage to a garment that is caused by looses items left in its pockets, or added fragility, such as sequins, pins or jewelry affixed to the garment.

Suede and leather garments sometimes have inherent defects that may not be apparent before cleaning. They may have become tender, stiff or brittle or they may have faded. Skins that were overstretched in making the garment may shrink in cleaning. We will take due care of suede and leather garments, but will not be responsible for damage caused by the inherent nature of these materials.

Delivery Delays

The Laundry StorkSM makes every effort to meet its pick-up and delivery schedule; however, there may be times when circumstances outside our control require us to reschedule. If there is a scheduling change, we will notify you by email, and reschedule as soon as possible. We do not offer refunds or credits in these circumstances.

Right of Rejection

The Laundry StorkSM reserves the right to reject any and all items of a bag. You will not be charged for items that are rejected.

Storing Credit Card Information for Your Account

We allow registered users to store a credit card number securely under their account for easy ordering. All credit cards stored on our Site are encrypted for user protection.

Once you place an order from our Site, the credit card you use at checkout can be stored for you in your account. If you forget your password, click on “Forgot Password?” on the member sign in page of the website. If you have any other concerns about this function, please read our Privacy Policy.

Pricing

Pricing changes are posted on the Site. Increases in pricing will apply prospectively only. Additional information about Pricing is contained in the “Orders and Price” section of the Terms of Use.

Subscription Plans

Time of Payment: Your payment for Subscription Laundry Plans is due at the time of enrollment.

Student Semester Laundry Plan: If you choose to enroll in a Student Semester Laundry Plan after the semester has started, please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a pro-rated fee for the semester.

Auto-Renewal: If you enrolled in our discounted Subscription Quarter, Student Semester, Semi-Annual or Annual Laundry Plans, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the Subscription Laundry Plan for a new subscription, for the same term (quarterly, semi-annual or annual), at the Subscription Laundry Plan price in effect at the commencement of the renewal term, unless you notify us that you do not want to renew your Subscription Laundry Plan, by sending an email to customerservice@laundrystork.com no later than 7 days prior to the end of the term of your Subscription Laundry Plan.

Cancellation or Alteration of Your Plan
  • You may cancel a Recurring Laundry Plan by providing us with one week’s notice. You will be charged for that week. You must provide us with your notice of cancellation by sending an email to customerservice@laundrystork.com.
  • Subscription Laundry Plans are non-cancellable during the Subscription term. Should you decide to discontinue use of The Laundry Stork services, pre-paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.
  • If you wish to change from one type of plan to another, please contact a Customer Service Representative by sending us an email at customerservice@laundrystork.com.
Termination

The Laundry StorkSM reserves the right to terminate service and refund customers at any time for any reason. We will notify customers immediately via e-mail.

Changes to These Service Policies and Information

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change these Service Policies and Information at any time by posting revised terms on the Site. It is your responsibility to check periodically for any changes we may make to these Service Policies and Information. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of changes to these Service Policies and Information or other policies means you accept the changes. The revised Service Policies and Information will take effect immediately upon its publication on this Site.
